AmeriHealth Casualty Services Attends NJSIA Conference

May 2, 2016 – Representatives from AmeriHealth Casualty Services were in attendance at the 97^th annual New Jersey Self-Insurers’ Association Workers’ Compensation Conference and Vendor Fair, held at the Harrah’s Resort and Casino in Atlantic City, New Jersey on April 28^th and 29^th. This event provided the opportunity for professionals in the field of workers’ compensation, human resources, risk management, health and safety, and others to participate in an engaging and informative workers’ compensation seminar featuring presentations on workers’ compensation related issues by physicians, nurses, attorneys, and employers.

As it has done so in the past, the conference was themed; this year’s theme was “Drafting the Right Workers” Compensation Team’ — a nod to the NFL Draft that took place last week and over the weekend. Vendors in attendance were encouraged to wear attire as well as to decorate their booths in accordance with the theme of the conference.

The New Jersey Self Insurers’ Association is a coalition of major employers in the State who have taken direct responsibility for the safety and well-being of their employees by choosing to self-insure their workers’ compensation programs.
