R. Mark Adams, Vice President of Underwriting

Mark Adams has over 25 years of experience in the commercial insurance industry, specializing in workers’ compensation and product development. He oversees underwriting and loss control operations. He also negotiates all reinsurance treaties and is responsible for managing the underwriting staff.
Adams has a long career developing innovative solutions for complex workers’ compensation problems, using unbundled services, alternative risk transfer mechanisms, and insurance products. Previously, he worked for Jardines Insurance Brokers and The PMA Group.
Adams graduated from LaSalle University with a B.A. in Economics and Marketing. He also holds various insurance producer licenses throughout the Mid-Atlantic region.
Lee J. Herzer, Vice President of Operations

Lee Herzer oversees our company’s claims management, information technology, and day-to-day operations. He started out at our firm as a supervisor for the City of Philadelphia. Given his expertise and experience, he was promoted to Director of Information Technology and Director of Philadelphia Operations. He has held his current position as V.P. – Operations since 1999.
Herzer began his claims career in 1981 as a P&C adjuster. His background includes a variety of claims positions from handling property claims to serving as the claims manager for a law firm specializing in insurance claims. He also served as a unit supervisor for the Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority.
Herzer attended the United States Military Academy at West Point and holds a B.S. in Political Science from the University of Pennsylvania.
Jennifer M. Dragoun, M.D., Vice President & Chief Medical Officer

Dr. Jennifer Dragoun oversees all aspects of the delivery of medical care, as well as provider relations, network contracting, and bill re-pricing. She regularly conducts case reviews and “peer to peer” discussions, directs clinical programs, and serves as a clinical resource to the entire company.
Dr. Dragoun joined Independence Blue Cross (IBC) in 2006, holding various roles within the company. Most recently, she served as Medical Director for FutureScripts, which at the time was IBC’s pharmacy benefits management company. She also served on the pharmacy and therapeutics committee and continues to serve as a member of IBC’s medical policy committee. Dr. Dragoun began her career as a practicing family physician and consultant for Chestnut Hill Healthcare where she served on the Chestnut Hill Hospital Internal Review Board.
Dr. Dragoun earned a B.A. from Cornell University in Mathematics and her medical degree from Jefferson Medical College. She completed her residency in family medicine at Chestnut Hill Healthcare in Philadelphia.
David Cucinotta, Vice President of Finance and Administration

Dave Cucinotta oversees all financial activities including preparation of current financial reports, forecasting for future business growth, and general economic outlook. He is responsible for the company’s financial plans and policies, accounting practices, the conduct of its relationships with the financial community, maintenance of fiscal records, and preparation of all financial reports. He has over 28 years of experience in accounting, budgeting, board presentations, cash management, investments, and strategic planning.
Cucinotta earned his B.A. from LaSalle University in Philadelphia and is a member of the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Glenn Giveans, CPCU, Vice President of Sales and Marketing

Glenn Giveans joined AmeriHealth Casualty Services in 2012 as V.P. – Sales and Marketing and is responsible for agency contracts, agency relationships, and overall service with our clients. He leads marketing efforts to retain insured and third-party administration business, as well as develop new business. He also serves on the Board of the Cathedral Kitchen in Camden, New Jersey. Giveans has held leadership positions at CIGNA, Reliance, and PMA Insurance Companies in underwriting, sales, and marketing.
Giveans is a graduate of Central Connecticut State University, where he majored in Finance. He has his Charter Property Casualty Underwriter designation.
