Corporate Accounting Department

All financial reporting is done by our corporate accounting department. The department is also responsible for billing, cash receipts, premium audits, payment of broker commissions, payments to vendors, and all other financial responsibilities of the company.

Financial Reporting

AmeriHealth Casualty is a subsidiary of Independence Blue Cross and is responsible for reporting financial results to the parent company on a monthly basis.

Direct Billing

All invoicing is prepared and mailed on a monthly basis and all policyholder receivables are maintained and updated daily.

Premium Audits

All policies are audited at policy expiration. This task is coordinated by the accounting department staff.

Broker Commissions

Commissions to our distribution of brokers are prepared and mailed monthly.

Vendor Payments

All payments to vendors are initiated and approved by the accounting department.
