AmeriHealth Casualty is the Official Workers Compensation Carrier for PICS Programs

AmeriHealth Casualty is pleased to announce that we are now the official Workers Compensation carrier for the Pennsylvania Insurance Consortium of Schools (PICS). Partnering with Peerless Insurance for the other Property & Casualty Lines, and Murray Risk Management and Insurance in Lancaster, PA as the MGA, AmeriHealth Casualty is now able to offer this outstanding program to our agents.

Effective July 1st the PICS program will be converting from a self-insured trust to a fully insured program underwritten by AmeriHealth Casualty. This new program will combine the excellent risk control and claims services that have been the hallmarks of PICS since its inception in 1981 with the resources and flexibility of AmeriHealth Casualty and its related companies.

PICS current service Provider, Murray Risk Management and Insurance, will continue in their current role and will serve as the Wholesale Broker for this program. In that capacity Murray Risk Management and Insurance will offer the program through local agents and encourages PA Schools to contact their current agents for more information and access to the PICS program.
